looks like Dyno is in with a good chance today! seems to be England's day, though I guess Disher isn't French... so who knows!!!

Congratulations Darren for showing a big crowd just what a class you are when it comes to the crunch. Tommy too was a great example of a true sportsman who was so gracious in defeat. The atmosphere in the club really was fantastic and it just shows you that this is what pool is really all about. Well done to Si too for organising everything so well, to BigD for a good report and for the chaps from Cuesport.tv for covering the event. Let's hope there's many more nights like this. What an amazing night. The atmosphere was electric and this was assisted by the football and rugby results (well done ENGLAND!). A fantastic crowd gathered and we all knew how big a moment this was for UK American pool. Lots of people to thank...... Jella Singh for his gracious hospitality; Pete Williams, Angela, Gareth Esprit and Matt Hyden for Cuesport TV and their totally professional manner; Dave Knight and Andy Watts for Pro9.co.uk as always for their coverage and continuing promotion of American cuesports in the UK; Lee Rigby for his valued assistance on the night (£16,000 takes ages to count, best have a banker handy ) ; All the supporters who came from far a field including London, Portsmouth and Scotland and especially to my road partners Jonny Cooper, Richard Underwood and Jason Devanney; ...and finally a big thank you to Tommy and Daz without whome there was no show. Big massive up to Tommy for being so sportsmanlike, a true sportsman with total class and respect......and Daz....well, you know how I feel mate....you have come along way in this sport in such a short time, thank you for letting me share the ride. New name for boyzone......Karl 'The Pipe Cleaner' Boyes By the way, the food was no hype.....they were some of the best currys I have ever eaten. Heres to the next one..... Well done Daz, im a bit suprised at the final score been such one sided....didnt expect that. Maybe this puts you up there in the UK as the current top money player!.....Raj or Imran might have somethin to say about that, i dont know. Its a shame Steve knight isnt still playing coz he was the best money player i ever saw from the UK.....that might have been a good match up hey Si? Anyway, nice one Daz, and bad luck this time Tommy. Dazzler.....getting ready for kick off! -----------------

Thanks to everyone who attended and supported me! Its been no secret that my form as been terrible of late and losing to Ricardo gave me the kick up fool to do something about it, worked really hard for this match for 3 weeks on and off the table, still confidence was low because haven’t had chance to play comps but I was determined to win and made sure I was 100% focused and concentrate which I was! Thanks for Tommy for taking the match and also for his sportsmanship the game was played hard and fair and never questioned each other when fouls etc there was no sharking or cheating maybe that’s because we have snooker and English 8ball background where the sportsmanship is much better ! That’s my only gripe with American pool too many players trying to cheat or shark to just basically try anything to win or gain edge! But to the game considering how low have been confidence wise I played good solid match play pool and knew my safety could be the difference which I think it was and running the first 2 racks was important for me to get confidence up and put Tommy under pressure I made few silly mistakes but played solid just don’t understand why I cant or haven’t showed the form I play to when am in America or Philippines hopefully it will come! Hopefully this win will end my slump and ill be ready for Philippines next week really can’t wait to get there! Few thanks to people The club and jella He treated me like a son for the 3 days I was there from Thursday and made me feel at home its by far the best venue have played in for atmosphere and arena for money matches and believe me have played all over world with over 150 money matches! This venue is the business and I intend to have many more matches there against fellow uk 9ball players any of them that would take the challenge, and players from America and Europe and when am ready the Philippines! I love the challenge and I want more and more and more money games! Lol, also what can u say about the food just amazing so nice and the tea wasn’t bad too! Thanks to cuesport TV absolute quality great set up and big well done lads lets do it again and again !well done to all involved! Also to Simon dvali great bloke run around like headless chicken thanks pal ur the nuts! and to pro9 great websire and dave for his reporting and pics they are class! well done pal Thanks to everyone who supported me and backed me appreciated great atmosphere! Biggest thanks for me as to be Karl boyes and lee Rigby Karl has been in gym tipping in at 14st well done! also for travelling down with me Friday and working the table out and getting all the information we could about the table was hard work but we got there pal.. Lee Rigby for all the hours we spent on table playing races to 30 we must have played 15 sets over last 3 weeks and he gave me some self believe back and helped me out a lot thanks ! One last note Well done once again to everyone, and it would be nice for other uk 9ball players to step up to the challenge ,also I will be planning games with European players and American players and hopefully get them over to jellas club! Dynamite… Philippines here we come 11st 2lb [ This message was edited by: dynamitedaz on 2007-10-14 17:16 ]

Absolutely quality night.
Well done to all involved, we will be looking to produce more nights like this over the coming months.
My word do we have some editing to do! 10 tapes approx 5 hours of footage. I have seen some and it is excellent.
Well done to Daz he was solid throughout the match and fully deserved the win.
Check out the channel over the coming days as we will be adding sections from the night. Big thanks to Jella Singh - what a top fella!
