average Players may complain if we all charged a higher entrance fee, BUT, ask most average players and they enter these events knowing they are not going to win them but they are over the moon to have the chance to play top players like Daryl Peach, Imran Majid, Ra Hundal, etc etc to name a few, I class myself as an average player and love a crack at these guys thats why I still play and pay, I agree things need to change on the 9-ball and no reason why this will not be the case, £45 for members is a small fee to pay but top players are drifting away because of low payouts, I would love to see the entrance fee go up to £70/£80 and I think we could get fields larger than 90 players every tournament, now if an average player does not want to pay that amount of entry fee then charge them 50% of the entrance fee but should they win only 50% of it that way it is the players choice.
Lets say for eg.
80 Runners 40 top players pay £80 =£3200 40 Average Players pay £40 =£1600 Total =£4800
Just for example say winner was Top Player and got £1500 then average player if they won would get £750, if that would leave £750 spare plus any over average player winnings, this could then be money added to next event and so on. I could go on but gotta pick kids up

If you want a shot at Raj or Imran or an even harder test mr knight, head down to Victoria on a saturday night. £10, much cheaper!

if an organiser does a job, like everyone he desrves a wage,if its done properly pay the man! if a job is being done poorly then you get the boot, well thats how it work in everything else in life, but once again pool is diferent and we wonder why it hasnt gone anywhere in 50yrs!
