too much salad dodging going on for Versace shirts me thinks!!! hahahahaha!!! I think Boyzi has already said what he feels...hes already spat it out! I personally think that the MINIMUM prize for the bottom place in an event should be at least the equivelant of the entry fee (£45 now). I think that maybe a protion of the membership money should be used to top the event monies up. As a guide, the EPT is only £30 more to enter and last16 gets £250.......and this comming season we are looking into paying to last 32....it will be around £100!!! -----------------

Nice 1 Daryl! I personally think paying the last 32 is spot on. If the top players got all the money all the time then maybe the average players would quit and then you would be left with 10 runners. Then what would the top players share? No players = no tour = no money for top pro's. Then the top players would have to get jobs and not practice as much and then become average! And so on..... Hehe. ----------------- [ This message was edited by: Shooter on 2006-11-30 21:57 ]

He can'y have already said what he feels because he's asking people to approach him personally!! Come on boyzi say what you gotta say. I won't be offended by your one sided comments honest. [ This message was edited by: 412-414 on 2006-12-01 13:15 ]

Boyzi hasn't aired all his views... And you don't have to be good at computers to type, he has already shown that. However long it may take to type your views, please share them. And your £165 gives you the benefit of being ranked in the biggest tour in the UK. It also allows you to compete in the European Championships. It also lowers your fee per tour stop (so you can compete regulary with the UK's best 9ball players). You will also get the chance to play in the up and coming UK Championships without having to enter a qualifying event (if you are ranked according to the cut off point, which you are 100% capable of being). You also get a membership pack and polo shirt haha (unfortunately for you, not a Versace polo shirt). Also you get a good rate in most clubs in the UK if you just mention BPPPA or Ted Bristow to the manager. (but this probably won't interest you as I think you are sponsored by Rileys anyway. correct me if i'm wrong) Not worth 165 Quid? [ This message was edited by: Danny on 2006-12-02 06:13 ]

14 events..
non member = £910 in tournament fees and non of the above benefits.
member = £795 in tournament fees + all above benefits.

Not too sure about that.

Or you can look at it another way - £100 on fuel to Manchester every month, £100 (min) on the hotel, another £100 (min) on entry fee and a bit of food.
Or - fly to europe for £50, pay 25 euro for a room each night, get to see a bit of the continent and compete against the top european players for more money.......absolute no brainer!

i think a good way of getting more people to join would be to let players pay the membership in seperate payments, not all players will pay £165 up front and if they miss the first tourney they probably will not end up joining,
when mickeys held their first tour you could either pay for tournaments seperately or pay all in one go for a slightly reduced fee
obviously jammy didnt hear what ted said about not every tournament will be in manchester.

£100 minimum on the hotel??? for 2 nights?? (there are places for approx £36 per night.. and there are B&B's for even less I think)
£55 to eat for two days?? (you could have a mcdonalds breakfast, a subway sandwich for dinner, and a tgi fridays 12oz sirloin steak on both days for less than that)
And unless you're driving from penzance in a hummer or tank or something. I can't see it costing 100quid for fuel.

what daryl said is perfect, also every bpppa should be 1000 to winner,i think its bad when the winners prize fund changes, its hard to win one so if u do u should get a decent wedge, the 8ball world champs at english pool(reds an yellows) was 10g to winner, two years ago big sponsor pulled out, they didnt take money frim the winner the took it from every other position, this way it didnt make it sound like it was going down hill, bpppa is a tour that could be very big,i want it to be as big as possible thats y im sharing my thoughts..also who is the most well known uk9ball player in r country ? totally agree boyzi too much money getting spread... and for the size of the tour and membership fees prize fund should be guaranteed
not one event £871.72 p winner then next event £968 ..and some events pay last 32 other events 17-24 personally think its a bit of a joke and not very professonal
its got to be 1k winner at least...
its very dissapointing that the prize moneies so bad thats what keeps the likes of myself away from most events theres no value..
so many players in uk now empire tour 2k winner and set the bar ,its time 9ball did same u would see so many 8ballers switching full time then...

I'd say Raj Hundal is the most well known 9 ball player from our country. And probably most well known in our country. At this moment in time. [ This message was edited by: Danny on 2006-12-04 06:26 ]
