Darren went 14-10 on Efren (Race to 15) and Efren ran the match out for 15-14 win.

Daz levelled with Luat for £200 a set. Looks like he can keep up with the best of them. Most of us knew that.

Someone said in an earlier post that the English 8 ballers are making 9 Ball look easy. Not all of them...just the best ones. The Mellings, Harrisons, Appletons, Hills, Raybones and Boyes of this world are all CLASS cueists. Plain and simple.

I saw Imran play Drago at snooker in Spain...with his American cue and Imran knocked in 2 centuries. I have seen Raj do the same thing about a year ago.

Mark Gray has the best cue ball control I have ever seen on a 9 Ball table. Again, snooker player......CLASS cueist.

...and lest we forget the masters of the UK scene....Tommy, Dazzler, Knight. I could go on.

Fact is, the UK is right where its at in terms of raw pool talent.

Darren, Mick and Karl have all shown on the IPT, BPPPA and Eurotour that they can compete with the worlds best players on the big tables.

Hope all the UK boys kick some butt at the Worlds. Show em where its at...Rule Britannia! :-)

Went to the pool room last night where all the action is......6 tables.......Brunswick Metro's.........

These were the matches and amount::::::

table 1, Daz vs Efren £300.....even 1 set each
table 2, Hundal vs young Filippino £160.....Raj lost
table 3, Busta vs Alcano £2,000 Busta won
table 4, Morris vs De Luna £1,000 not sure who won
table 5, Luat vs Reljic £400 Luat won
table 6, Pagulayan vs Corteza £5,000 Pag won

One other thing....earlier there was an old guy that was about 80 years old who gave Putnik a real lesson in pool...Putnik left the place like a baby elephant if you know what i mean.....apparently this old fella learned Efran everything he knows!!

Its funny but to get a game you need to be in the place before it opens.....absolutely mental.....the room just fits 6 tables in it......and there was 500 people watching....great atmosphere in there....but outside on the street its like the Gaza strip!!!!.....put my arm out for a taxi and my watch was GONE!!!!....but Andy bought a Rolex for £2 further down the road!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Dazz, been enjoying your posts thanks. It's sad, here in the states we will have ZERO video feed. Anyway, who is this 80 year old guy. Years ago Nick Varner when he was in college was tagging along with the great Daddy Warbucks "Hubert Cokes" the one person Minnesota Fats always wanted a piece of because of his huge bankroll. So if you can find out (80's) name that would be cool. I've always heard Willie Mosconi played great up till he was 60, and here in the states we'd like to see Efren do the same. :-)
