No idea and not seen either you are talking about (too busy to look lol) but our logo has not changed. Rules for use of our logo are here: http://www.gb9balltour.com/logo.htm

I think it's quite a clever interpretation but, no our logo has not changed.

Very well done this weekend to the winners Shaun Storry (First GB9 win), Tony Drago and Craig Osborne.

And also to... Sam Hirst on a brilliant effort at his first GB9, steady Imran who always seems to grind his way through GB9 Sundays into the final, Phil Wildman for his best finish in a GB9 Main event, Damian Massey for taking out the 'on fire' Drago, and to Jack Whelan, Andy Barnet and Craig Dixon for picking up their first GB9 Medals.

And a big thank you from to to everyone who helped this weekend, especially to Liz Dooley who took on the difficult task of filling in for Hollie behind the tournament desk and did a great job of keeping the tournament moving through Saturday and Sunday.

I didn't make it, but I really like this one-off swirly version of the GB9 logo too... I won't use it again as apparently it's not official and could confuse people, and obviously some people don't like it either, but there's always a need for an image, and the same old thing repeated again and again can get boring.

Well done to all the winners at the Northern Masters... Another cracking event by all reports.

No probs Dave - it think looks quite cool and am not suggesting there's any harm done. Good article and nice pictures too.

Regarding the bit about the same old thing... getting boring etc... It's not done Coca Cola or MacDonalds any harm :)

I made the logo for use on the Facebook fan page as the normal logo gets cropped in news feed posts, a more square format picture works better so I came up with the swirl logo. Intention is for Facebook only.
