Problem is I think the events are far too regular now and too many familiar faces. Just my opinion and while it's great to see Arfan on his run etc I can imagine people being bored like they are of Man Utd and Chelsea dominating the premiership, or Sebastian Vettel diminating F1.

I know personally I'd like to see some faces the same but more wildcard matches with different people.

Another personal opinion - don't like how good players can select the table they play on while 'bad' players have no choice but to play on a table that isn't really suitable for £1000 minimum money matches.

I'd love to know if neutrals are more bored of watching lower cat players chopping away (no offence intended) or by me being on all the time. I think I've given some good matches to mmtv and put some good performances in at the same time. If I was playing players that I should be beating easily, then you might have had a point. I'm pretty sure that from my 9 wins, you can argue that I've probably been 2nd favourite in 4 or 5 of them before the matches.

As for selecting tables, I personally have never asked Andy what table I want to play on, I've played on the tv table 6 outta 9 but having spoken to Pete, he ideally wants better matches on there as he needs to sell the event for himself. In my last match, my opponent selected the table, I didn't agree to that but I still got on with it and did the job. Just my two pence worth :o).

Now, off to Blackpool for some more marbles, lol

I don't think people are bored of your performances or your run, it's been a brilliant run and I'll be happy to keep wondering who will be next for you to play.

It just seems to be the same faces most of the time. Even the people coming back for wildcard games are the same. Something has to be done to get fresh faces involved, but it's difficult when people down south generally won't travel anywhere.

I think it would be refreshing to just have some newer players involved and possibly feature the outside table a little more because as it stands, there is little point to the outside table on MMTV, or the interviews because nothing about the game is mentioned during commentary other than the score. If they had one small camera that focused on key moments in the undercard match, that is all that's needed.

I know the table decision was nothing to do with you Arfan and more to do with Barney, but I just don't see why anybody should get to decide other than Pete?

I'd hope by now people know I'm a keen supporter of MMTV and it's been brilliant for UK pool especially up North. I would probably not have been so encouraged to play money games if it wasn't for MMTV, and the experiences gained have helped my game come on leaps and bounds. However it is getting a little stale and I think something refreshing needs to be done like a scotch doubles event, or maybe even allowing different games to 9ball. I just think it needs a little bit of expansion and diversity now. This is just my opinion and I'm not offended by any opinions. I'm just offering my own constructive opinion.

Baz

You've made some good points there Barry especially the possibilty of changing the American pool discipline maybe for one month.

However Andy is also right in saying that all his events fill up and normally very quickly so it's a tricky one for him really.

Yeah its gone stale lol its been running for 13 months we never fail to fill the cards? I think the format is perfect the way i run it better than the trueman show, There is lots players who put there names down to play but never come forward but thats not my choice it up to them, Has for the tables i dont think any other club in the country re/cloth tables more than i do but your oppinion thats okay too, Andy barnett did not pick his table he just made a comment has to which he hoped he would be on this made no difference to are selection, Its time more fresh faces came forward but apart from arfan all the matches are practically new faces long may MMTV continue stop knocking and start supporting it any player wishing to play on MMTV please apply and lets get your names forward. PS the tables are more than suitable for big games in my oppinion.

Andy you have filled the cards with ease but where are the supporters? That's the complaint others have that there isn't enough support...

I'm not saying anything about reclothing because yes you do an awful lot of that and that is to your credit, but the cushions on table 2 are not perfect - particularly the one cushion nearest to table 3.

I think its unfair to tell me to stop knocking it when all I'm doing is giving constructive opinions. And especially when I've supported your events. I even spent £30 extra on a hotel to stay overnight and play the sunday comp at MMTV 11, for there to be no comp on and I got no apology no nothing (and was charged £8 for table while waiting for something to be set up). Thats what I got for supporting Vegas Bar...

I like the club and I tell people about it who don't already know. So you cant say Im knocking you when all I've ever done is encourage and support it by participating, and attending a couple of action nights and handicaps.

bazza thas a decent kid but to say table 2 isnt worthy of playin a 500 aman money match on is ridicolous, ive played it many times and theres nothin wrong with it.some players do not stick to the 5 supporter rule, got to remember a club has bills n overheads to pay and if no customers then it will fold, andy does a great job with vegas and many of us guys would have no where to practice and get some action on a regular basis,if he didnt put his time n effort in to make things happen.i though last mmtv lacked the atmosphere, basically down to lads who are playin not bringin support for themselves and for the club, defo not a psent idea just needs the rules stickin to.also agree that pete should have a massive say in which games should be streamed as its his time n effort and him also wantin people to pay for ppv, which in my eyes is well worth it,i paid just for the matt lawrence-uzzell match last time up then cam n watched the barney/dad game.a know arfan put no offence intended with lads of lesser talent but throwin choppers in and missing balls, come on mate we all do it including ye sen,bit disrespectful in my eys, unless it what happens on that high horse,if so glad am not on it,just a mere hobby to most of us and not all of us are out everynight and at comps every weekend playin 8ball/9 ball, snooker n whatever else ye can find to swing a stick at,dreadful.

good idea in my eyes about havin 2 winner spots n 4 wildcard but andy runs the show n its his say,2 winners n 4 wildcard would open it up alot to givin all types of players a real chance, including the choppers i.e dixon n dockerty lol.

keep up the good work andy, sometimes ye cant do enough n wont please everyone,i have first hand experience of this for 3 years running a club,be a lot cryin if it went tits up,even the breasts

WHOS complaint is it baz there not enough support lol there has been plenty of support from players at almost all events to pick up on erics post earlier he pointed out there was less buzz in the evening games because some players did not honour the 5 supporters rule, Hence no shouting out forplayers during the match apart from that we hve had plenty of supporters turn up, Lol baz appology for what i cant force players to turn up and to be honest you chose to practice i did not force you am suprised in your comments if i walked into a cafe had a full english i think the owners would expect me to pay also mate, And the supporting vegas bar thing i think thats total twaddle you came to play for money and to try make a few quid all the players who play on MMTV come to hopefully win the doe and we treat all the winners and losers the same way, You already asked me in the week how much is it tp play on a saturday when your playing nav next week my reply was its free for your money game thats my way of saying thanx for supporting the club i rest my case baz.

Is 9 ball turning political like 8 ball? That's exactly what everyone doesn't need surely?

Andy I was on about the supporters not players. I know the events fill up quick :) Think its mad after all this time that people aren't honouring the 5 supporters rule.

I was just a bit wound up earlier sorry i went off on one. I do really like Vegas Bar and thats why Ive paid fuel and begged Lee Happs to drive up a couple of times as well as MMTV.

Appreciate your generosity in giving free table for next weeks game it is much appreciated. Nav said tables been redone again so look forward to playing.

Not on no high horse Eric, I'm just making a valid point in reply to bazza's post which when I read it, seemed like people were bored of me being on all the time. I think I made a valid point and i didn't mean for it to be offensive if that's how it comes across.
