It's very hard to categorise these players now because the standard has got so high that most of those cat 3 players can beat anyone on a good day. Gibbo quite rightly had to be moved up a category after his 5 convincing wins but can you really say gibbo is better than Eric - of course not. Equally I'd like to think results in our practice matches show gibbo is not a category above me either.
Not criticising Andy's categorisation - just highlighting how hard it is to work it out nowadays. I'm having a nightmare just trying to handicap an open 9 ball event because putting some players off -1 seems harsh but then you end up with everyone on the same handicap if you're not careful.

When you put Ian Mc Cormick on the list Andy he's definately a 5! Played 3 races to 15 with Mark Lovell and won 2-1 with them all going hill hill.
