As a fan, bring back Romford Slim for me!!! Or Hendry! You could argue that it'd be the only way to make it an even contest again. Hendry would be a great pick and he has been playing pool too. Either woudl be great to be honest..

How on earth can the reigning World 9-Ball Champion and reigning 14.1 champion be left out of the Europe Mosconi Cup team? That's just messed the whole thing up for me. Thorsten Hohmann must be gutted, I really hope he was asked and couldn't do it. Joke.

Absolute nonsense, Thorsten is a legend. 2x world 9 ball champion in different decades proves his longevity in the game and he still looks energetic and got more in the tank after all this time. Just seen they got Immonen in...I suppose that can't be argued with he's class too but should've still chose Hohmann imo. Having Souquet back as a legend good move. Think the US have a great chance this year [ This message was edited by: BFrench501 on 2013-09-30 18:10 ]

It means more exposure and hopefully more money as they are both great guys and deserve everything they get as they have worked hard to achieve it.
Win or lose the cup doesn't really matter. If they can get there names known in non pool watching households like Davis White Hendry and Ronnie have managed in non snooker fan households then fantastic.
Next comment might be unpopular but in terms of exposure and opportunities did Fabio losing and crying doing him more good than winning???
I'm sorry but IMO that is the most rubbish i've ever heard. I've been to the prior 3 Mosconi cups and i'm telling you that winning the trophy means everything to every one of the players there...

Why not put Ronnie O'sullivan in it for the tv ratings.

as much as it wd be good to see O'sullivan or davis pit their skills it wd also make a mockery of 9ball in my opinion as the guys that play all year round with the aim of trying to get selected for mosconi would be thinking whats the point of travelling the world /Europe risking their own money trying to gain not only ranking points but also make a living. we've already seen debates on who has been selected and people saying certain players should or shouldn't be in and these are the touring pros that all deserve to be in the reckoning so to pick either Ronnie or davis would really be in my opinion detrimental to pool, also I would like to say that the mosconi is a lot more than an exhibition as is the ryder cup in golf it is in fact the pinnacle of many players careers
