Yeah that was me! I was going to come over and say hi but i was busy trying to work out why i was playing so bad! I think we'll be becoming regulars in there, its a really nice pool room.

You going down to the Common Room tonight?

If you come off the morotway towards the town centre you hit the town centre roundabout. Take the Third exit, which is Peel street (near enough straight across) and Rileys is 100 yards up on left hand side.

Well tonight was a fantastic event, i'm pleased i finished work on time so i could play.

The format made the comp extremely interesting with the 'so called' stronger players not making the final........one even went out in the group stages!!!!!!
Overall it was a great club with really nice staff i will be making the trip form leeds again and i would suggest to anyone who would like a good night of pool and is within driving distance to give it a go.

Well done Riggers and Shir,

Oh just so you dont get there then feel disapointed there is no Shir next week! :-D

Good luck for the future with this comp.

Pfff don't I deserve any sleep???

Bob Robinson won the winnerside and 50 pounds...
Jason Widdison won the loserside and his entryfee back!
Some of the stronger players: Nick Wollerton, Adam Beasley, Dave Mackay, Shoka Ali and me? ;)
Beer: Don't know.. Don't drink it.. Ask Riggers...
Tables: They're fine.. Just Sam's, like every Riley's I think? But this club is new so they are still ok...
Me beat Riggers up? Haha no comment? He didn't play...
17 players entered this first event..
Looks promising for next week...
But Riggers will be doing it alone for the next two coming weeks so take it easy on him!

Thanks PC!!!
Great that you could come.. And thanx again for the ride home!
Wasn't bad for a first event right?

PS why should be people be disappointed when I'm not there?
Riggers will entertain them, right?

Thanks for your support PC. It was a good night of pool and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The round robin format and losers competition made sure everyone got to play plenty of pool regardless of their experience and skill and I think that made it a successful night. It was also good to see some unlikely players make a profit on the night.

It's 8 Ball next week (same rules as EPT) so I hope all those within travelling distance give it a go.
