your 2 cents worth are pretty spot on riggers

i think gazs idea was more to the point of playin all matchs on the diamond so theres no moaning by any player that there on a lesser table

to run it over 2 days is what the comp is not about,its about running it over 4 5 weeks,all streamed if possible on the diamond on a saturday if possbile

for example

16 players

8 matchs

simlilar to mmtv times

11.00am game
15.00pm game
19.00pm game

race to 25s knockout

to get down to the semis ther will after be 12 matchs played so 4 saturdays needed,obviousl work around mmtv with the saturdays,once into the semis then a game at

13.00pm game
17,00pm game then day after the final at 15.00pm

thats just a rough idea waht gaz was on about

personally im not interested in playin it over 2 days,just seems like another comp but 200 to enter,sumat to look forward to each week whether youve won your match or not,always guna be some good games to watch on saturdays and players will bring supporters and maybe have a side bet on there match

all gotta be on the diamond though then all players have nothing to moan about

table 2 could be used for level 3 4 and 5 players to do same thing or 100 man,you would easy get 16 players from them catergorys

so there would be 6 games goin off every saturday for 5 6 weeks

great idea if run like this n this is what gaz meant,not just to run it over 2 days like all other comps and have decent races for your money race to 25 or 30 each game,good old battle for your money

do the draw and allocate players which sat there playin and what time,if players cant make certain sat then make a few phonecalls n swap em about

be awesome if the streaming could be set up each saturday to cover these games,maybe sort lee with free entry or even buy a camcorder n use a laptop to do same thing

i think its a great idea to play in and watch matchs each week of the highest standard all on the diamond

its an idea what would appeal to fans too as they can just watch the allocated matches on, this way the players will feel the pressure of the crowd and the cameras, could run interviews too , with the players only havin 1 game they can watch every1 else too n hav a booze when finished. think a 2 day event will exhaust the players and be less of a spectacle. but its just an idea, filling up saturday nights is what im after n watchin streamed pool, much better for the fans

would be some good talking points and build up to semis etc if done over 4 maybe 5 week, say if eric drew matt in a quarter final id really look forward to it through week n look forward to weekend

Okay we definatley run it over a period of time, But will need to speak to lee first bout the stream because its a lot of weekends to give up time, I cant see any reason why if lee is not available i could not do it, Sounds like a few finishing touches then we can set up the dates.

if its over 4 or 5 weekends then the players wont have games every weekend as only 3 matches per night, thus flexibility with timed matches to suit people who struggle with certain times, every1s a winner
