hey, well done to Paddy. At least i can say that i lost my only match to the Winner of the whole tourney.

He's a great talent and showed me a thing or two about composure under pressure.

Well done Paddy.

This was my first BPPPA event and I must say I was impressed by the professionalism of the organisers.
I would like to thank Ted and Nigel for running a tournament to a level of top quality.
Great turnout (63 players), so that dispells a previous post that suggested there would be only 25 players...
I also got a chance to meet some of the guys on this forum (diamond, riggers, shooter, mafia to name but a few)

Its a pity the top players were on the Eurotour, but I'm sure everyone who was there will agree, there was still some top quality pool being played.

Thanks for a great weekend guys!

Ok....Tapped Tables..........ITS A TASTE SENSATION!, Its the future, its the way forward!!

Fantastic weekend with the boys, a cracking time. Great, well organised event, nice new cloth and TAPPED TABLES. It would have to be alternate break like it was this weekend, unless there are other ideas. Can't wait to play Daryl on a tapped table with winner breaks ( :-o 9 pack anyone?).

Great to meet Bruno and Tookster for the first time. Nice seeing old friends like Michael Valentine, Steve Capaldi, Pat Holtz and Jim No Hair :-D . Noteable absentees.....Blue Suede and Destroyer....where were you guys?????

Big up to the Scots for being excellent hosts and so welcoming except for the staff at the Albion pub who kicked us out!

Also, special mention to Sam Gibson and Joe Mathews, two of the nicest people you are ever likely to meet at an event. Lots of knowledge on cues (nice to talk high end stuff to someone else!!). Sam has lots of Pool stories over the years, you could write a huge book on it (take note Big Dave!!) and Joe does awesome cue repair work while you wait. Do take advantage of this at a BPPPA or EPT event. I am sure Joe will not mind me saying he undercharges for his work. He could charge double and you would not feel short changed.

More events in Scotland I say, I love you guys.

Si

Lol Sparkey!! But if tournaments didnt clash dates then u would not get these smaller and weaker fields! There was at least 20 entries in Weert who wud of been in Stirling if it wasnt for the clash of dates and 5 of these were the Uk's top 5,im not saying Paddy would not of won but if he had then he would of won over a £1,000 instead of £725!! Basically wot im saying is we (BPPPA) rely on entry fees to boost our prize fund so we must do more to avoid this happening again!??!

Once agin well done to Paddy,

                                    Mark.
