Personally, and I am being completely selfish here, I can only think of one perfect owner for that case! Sadly, I'm quite happy with my Porper cue case. Best wishes thecardman

If you dont mind me asking, what sort of price tag would we be looking at for a case like this one?

This one comes in at $1200 US (about £600) but they do come cheaper with less leather tooling and options.

Here is me getting my case from Jim Murnak at his booth. I ordered another one whilst I was there. He does amazing work, some of the finest cases I have come across. Check out the Sponge Bob Square Pants case under my case. This is all hand tooled and hand painted, amazing stuff. It was made for a young pool prodigy, don't know his name but if he ever shows up, you won't miss the case. [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-04-22 08:48 ]

Not in this style. Jack makes a small envelope style but no soft cases with zips. Incidentally, Jack has recently retired and signed over the use of his name and style of case to a far eastern company that used to copy his cases. Not sure how I feel about that but if the guy has had enough, I suppose he has the right to cash in on his name....after all....it is his!
Glad I got my Justis, his original cases will see a meteoric rise in price very soon.

I spoke to mr Justis today over the phone and he informed me that he is not retired but just slowing down on the orders he takes. He is not taking orders at the moment due to a big backlog but said that he will be talking orders again in mid June. The far easten company will be going by a slightly different name to, Justis West i think he said.

Nice one, thats good to hear. I must have read the thread on AZ wrong. Jack is awesome at cases, long may they continue. Justis West eh? I wonder what they will be like then if they are allowed to copy the Justis style. [ This message was edited by: thediamond on 2008-04-22 22:31 ]

One of the large purchases. This is a very, very fancy Andy Gilbert in snakewood, ivory, abalone and birdseye maple. Bottom pic is of Andy handing me the cue. Cool! Took a lot pf pics so the article will be full of them. [ This message was edited by: thediamond on 2008-04-22 22:38 ]
