Hi Nipper, Yes, I'm here in Cambridge... They're just finishing the group stages now and will be starting the Last 16 stage shortly. As soon as I know the last 16 I'll upload the details... Shouldn't be long now. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-01-20 17:25 ]

Last 16 posted!
Gareth won't know who he's playing until the match between Danny Prentis and Will Scott finishes.

Outside shot i'm gonna go for Alan Millership, a good friend of mine and i know the talent is there.. Got a tough one though with Ian West but i think he can beat him... [ This message was edited by: -Dazza- on 2008-01-20 21:05 ]

I've just watched Craig Osborne playing and he looks like he's got his name all over this tournament... Easier for me to guess as I can see how people are playing so not fair really, but Osborne is flying. (I went to look because someone mentioned him playing well a little earlier).

Full tournament results are in the article on the front page. It's been a long day for the finalists... Craig arrived here at 10am and bought a new Moori tip from The Pro Shop. (Spot the plug!) By 10:30AM Phil Morgan had glued and shaped the tip onto Craig's cue, and Craig started practicing. A full 13 hours later he and Martin Correia split the cash for the final and started their respective drives home to Ipswich and London after a long day's pool and a job well done! Congrats to Martin and Craig! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-01-20 23:51 ]

thanks to richard and everyone else involved for a good day yesterday. i always enjoy the comps at mickeys.
good day for me getting to the semis and finally getting to play martin correia, known him for 20 years and it's the first time we've ever played each other at pool!!
congrats to martin and oz getting to the final.
i've been playing this game for nearly 18 months now and would like to say what a top bunch of people all the players in our little pool world are. i've made a lot of new friends since i started and it's great to watch and learn from you all.
take care everyone and see you in solihull.

Thanks Dave - Kind words....
I was struggling badly early on in the event and maybe should have gone out with a terrible attitude in my group matches...
The tip just didnt feel right but then after a good clean and burnish on the ferryl i had a sniff of getting through my group.
When i did get through i said to Phil that i was determined to win the tournament from that point. Only the fact that it was 00.30 made us split the money, but i was flyin...
well done to Martin for playing great too, and thanks to Jonesy again for running another good tourne - Top Man! Mickeys is still my favourite club in the UK by a mile.
Ossie - Check out PRO TUBE for the Oz Vs Peach shootout in manilla......
