We just finished the selection this morning and details will be published on the GB9 website and on Pro9 today or tomorrow if I get time. Then everyone will receive an email confirming the amount of the second instalment. ...And one lucky person on the Reserve list will receive a phone call offering them a spot on the tour! ...And the rest of the lucky ones on the reserve list might be lucky enough to be offered a one off spot in Solihull only due to a paid up Tour Player not being able to make the first event.

would they have to pay an entry fee for the first tournament if they were to replace a paying tour member?

When is the draw being made for the first event, obviously it going to be no time soon but it has been said that, due to the players meeting, it will be drawn before hand. Is it being done on the wednesday before or something?

I think I have read this on the GB9 website, but just wanted to clarify the way promotions and relegations are going to work. Is it based on the Main Rankings or the separate divisional rankings or a combination of both. My reason for questioning is you could finish top 8 of Challenge Tour but bottom 24 of Main Tour. Therefore what would happen??

Ads, The draw will be done before the event but not posted in advance. We want to keep the suspense until you get there And of course we don;t want someone seeing that they play at 9pm so thinking they can get away with not coming to the players meeting Craig, The 3 tournaments and rankings are completely separate. Bottom 8 and top 8 between Challenge & Pro get promoted / relegated. Main ranking has nothing to do with that. Top 32 in main ranking gets you seeded through to final day of main event and 33-64 main ranking gets you seeded into round 2 which is last sessions on Friday night. Main ranking is also your official UK ranking, which might not mean much now (apart from that valuable seeding in tournaments) but I'm pretty sure it will prove even more valuable in the future.

Alright.
Riggers, how strict is the match scheduling going to be throughout the weekend?
What happens if you haven't finished your match by the given time?

Enquiries don't get you on the tour Mark Only an application can do that. Fingers crossed you'll get a slice of the GB9 action sometime this year. It will be good to have you.
