yeah there are a lot of champions and real quality players already on the one loss side!....i guess its gonna be like that as there are so many top players here that lots of big clashes are unavoidable early on in the event!

I lost to Marcus Chamat last night....i was 4-2 up and controlling the match when i got a bad contact on a safety shot.....the next tim i saw a ball i was 8-4 down and the momentum had truely swung in his favour...i missed a couple of tough shots towards the end when i was trying to force something to happen as he really froze me out of the game.

All in all he deserved to win this time....and if i had to have a bet on who would win the event apart from myself i would have to say Marcus or Ronnie Alcano....ive watch a lot of matches and nearly all the players are struggling with the tough conditions....but not these two!.....and i had to draw one of em hey!!!!! hahahaha.

Anyway, i play this afternoon and if i win it looks like it will set up a clash tomorrow with Charlie Williams who is also already on the one loss side!

Paddy plays tonight against either Hudji See or ramil Gallego....so theres another toughie for Paddy.

Just to give you an idea of how tough this event is....Earl Strickland is already on his way home!

Dont get me wrong....there are a lot of weak players too....i just wish i could find a couple! hahahahaha.

Ok gonna get ready for my match.

Dazzler......Paddy is not well by the way!

Well, i came through a tough match today against Dave Ross 11-8.
He is an old timer, but boy does he shoot well....the match was faultless for the first 10 racks, but then he made a few mistakes at the wrong times and this enabled me to get over the line.
I now face Charlie Williams tomorrow, so another toughie for me....if i keep winning i will play 4 matches tomorrow so thats more like it as far as im concered!

Raj also won his one-loss side match.

Jonni plays Duell tonight at 7pm and Paddy plays at 11pm.

Ok boys and girls...more updates later.

Dazzler........still hangin in there!

Jonni went down 11-10 to duell after been 3-0 and 10-8 up, they both really struggled and this made the match a thriller....Jonni had chances to get over the line but couldnt finnish the job, and corey crawled over the line...and i mean crawled!
There was a massive crowd for the match and the atmosphere was superb....i just feel for Jonni.

Paddy went down to Gallego 11-5/6?
He was 10-2 at one point!

Alcano is the man to beat here....he beat a very decent player named Chris Bartram 11-0 in 25 minutes last night!....he ran the first 2 then safe and run for the third, then another safe in the fourth....then he ran the match out with 8 racks!....beleive me on this equipment, non-tapped balls, break box.....MASSIVE!!!

more updates later.

Dazzler....on in an hour!
