i'm going lee. Flying as chris says at the crack of dawn on wednesday from luton. I'm really looking forward to playing but hate flying!!

You are right about the 148 euros for three nights, you obviously don´t expect to be playing on Saturday or you have a late flight back.
The price for Torrequebrada is 85 euros a night + tax for two people and includes breakfast but you must book through Gre Leenders to get that price.
The normal price for those rooms is as you say, a lot more.
At the end of the day, it doesn´t matter to me where you stay, you pays your money and you takes your choice.
But if you found someone to share with, you would be staying in a 5* hotel for 45 euros per night.
Thanks for the info Malaguista..i was first reserve so i've only just got notification that i can play and by now everyone would of booked their hotels i would assume...but if by chance anyone hasn't and wanna share with me then pm me. The Sunset Beach Club is 55 euro for a twin room per night.Daryl and myself have stayed there for the last 3 years.The hotel has sky tv the drinks are cheap and the breakfast is better than the torreqebrada.

i am going too, got b&b across the road in a **** hotel for 5 days for £92 sterling so i am staying to watch 8 ball also

its the benalmadena palace ,booked with alpharooms.com, and i know how bad a player i am.so just going over to watch both comps..

I´ve lived in Benalmadena for 18 years and have never heard of this hotel! I´ve just located it on Google Earth and now know where it is. It is a bit of a hike from the Torrequebrada but if you are young and fit, no problem. I will be joining you on the sidelines watching the action as I too am not good enough to play the tournaments. Hope you enjoy your stay in Benalmadena, look me up when you are here, anyone from the organisation will point me out. he's definitely not young and fit! Known nipper for nearly 20 years. Loves his pool and helped me a lot in the year i've been playing. He is a bit ugly though!! Lol
