Knowing Daz it wouldn't surprise me if he went to the Manila qualifiers anyway, that way if he gets to play in the big one, he will keep all the booty for himself.

Yes, but Daz was just an example. It could be Lee Rigby (Ain't I funny?) who won the qualifier, and he will most likely not go to Manila anyway.

I think RugRat has a great point. It's a qualifier so is aimed at people who could not otherwise afford to go so if this rule is stated up front it would be fair on everyone. All entrants are one team together, the winner gets a free trip and the thrill of the worlds and possibly some prize money and the other entrants have an interest in it too. I think it's a great idea, and like Roy said, if the big boys don't like it and want to keep all the dough they can go pay for their trip themselves! Of course I wouldn't expect Daz, Mick , Craig etc to fall in love with this idea but look at it from the point of view of all the 20 or 30 players that need to subsidize the winner when realistically only 3 or 4 of them can win it. If you want support from a good field of willing participants this is a great way to get it IMO. Top idea Roy.... bringing the world champs to the ordinary boys! Completely off topic Boyzi but i read somewhere that you were born in Bradford. Did you live there for any length off time?

Love the sponser the winner idea. I think people will buy into it. Also I think it can only help the person who wins go further knowing they have 20 or 30 people willing them on. More likely to go further than if they didn't have that support. So lets all join in the world's qualifer!!
