Cheers Neil, anyone got any suggestions on how they would like it run? I am a fan of the group stages as people get plenty of games for there money. Then do the last 8 straight k/o.

I have spoke with some of the locals and they are planning on coming down to this aswell, so numbers should be pretty good, also it isn't long after the bpppa event which they are having 12 tables re-clothed for.

I am going to be playing in this and running it, I am not sure if i am going to be getting any help from the staff at the club or not. I intend to do the draw to decide the groups then allocate each group two tables and all the game sheets, also a form to record the results in. When all the groups sheets are in i will do the draw where group winners play group r/u.

This will only work with enough numbers to do either 4 or 8 groups, i can put between 4-6 players in each group so there is a good chance it will workout.
If for any reason it is a number where i can't make either 4 or 8 groups i will switch to a double eliminator.
Should be good so feel free to bring people with you.

definately still on mate, we are going with the group stages first followed by straight k/o for those that qualify, i can't give any guarantee's for the numbers but i have had around 20 people tell me they are coming down plus you always get a few that just show up.

Hope you can make it.

Going away early in the morning so any more questions will be answered but not until Thursday.
Would love to think darkside and riggers could both make it!
