A couple of guys who went to the last tourny thought they said it was 8-ball, but 9 would make more sense...

The last tournament in Barnsley was 8 ball but this was an independant event not a BPPPA. The BPPPA tour is predominantly 9 ball. The next BPPPA event will be the usual 9 ball event over 2 days on 28/29 July in Barnsley.
Then on 12 August the BPPPA is holding it's 8 ball event at the same venue on one day. There will be a reduced entry fee for this, half ranking points for BPPPA members, and an incentive for non-members with regards to entry fee. Full details on flyer to be published soon.

Thanks for clearing that one up Riggers! I knew "The Lick" must be wrong with his 8-ball rubbish - probably just upset that Mark Gray spanked him 9-1 at the last one!

Hi James. Hope you are well. I was also told it was gonna be an 8 ball comp, but now it is going to be a bpppa event I would have guessed it would be 9 ball, hope to see you there and at the 8 ball comp. I wont ask why Steve is called "the lick", probably best I dont know lol.
Thanks Riggers, appreciate the hard work you are putting into our game. It makes more sense than pointless moaning and arguing in my humble opinion.
