I think +4 is the right amount of start and i'm sure a few people will agree with me. I just want a level game so I and my backers can have a decent bet on the game but i'm not guna ask people for a bet on the game when my opponent is trying to steal cash. If I can't get a level game I don't mind playing but it will be for the minimum of £200. If the right start is there (+4) I will go for a grand + [ This message was edited by: ThePotter on 2012-11-13 10:36 ]

Can i just ask Andy, while obviously new faces take priority, and i understand that Tem v Macca is a possible game at the minute, but if Tem doesnt agree to the start, then would a big money Macca v Nicky rematch be considered?
Its a decent game, and if theres alot of cash on it im sure there would be plenty watching

Tem is defo on the rob... +4 is definitely the game. Tem grow a pair and stop trying to steal, you only challenge when you think your decent favourite!
In my opinion as a champion don't think you should be forced into playing a game if your opponent is a decent favourite... Especially when there is other fair challenges out there. Let's be realistic if Tem was to win he wouldn't take on anyone his own ability and I'm sure no cat 4's would challenge him.

I agree Liam... Macca should still be able to play Nicky as Tem and Rich arent "Fair" games. Danny - as the rule states: "Fresh faces as long as its a fair game will be given the chance to play over players who have already been on MMTV" so yeah if nobody else challenges then the Nicky v Macca game should be a goer... Thats correct mark if a compromise by both players cant be met,, And liam no one as ever been forced to play a match, but if same people play month after month then it will dry up for sure, I think 3 would be a fair start tbh lets see what happens deadline is friday.

Am I imagining things or has Macca not beaten Tem off levels before? If he has then why does he need +4 this time? [ This message was edited by: Benjamin on 2012-11-13 17:50 ]

Benjamin, im unaware of this, however im not one of Macca's close mates and dont follow his results, only really see the ones on MMTV. And also, im simply going off what ive been told. I was told Tem v Sam Hirst is about a level game....which would mean that Tem is too strong for Macca

Don't think the game was off levels? Even if it was can't go on one result over a year ago, things have changed since then and Tem has learnt alot more about the game and is more solid. If Tem wants a big pot he will give +4. Everyone can see its not a level game.

It was a genuine question as I was unsure. However I think you can go on one result as this is only one match and unless one player has had a bout of Alzheimer's in the last year, time's irrelevant too. I wouldn't give anybody +4 that'd beaten me off levels before, only an idiot would. Anyway, that's my tuppence worth for the year spent. Good luck chaps!

Av played tem 3 times on gb9. Also played macca a couple times. Am not a fan of giving, receiving start but I reckon plus 4 is spot on. Tem played real strong against me the 3 times we played. IMO he shud be cat 2, if not, a very high 3

On a different note, if anyone (Maybe Doc) is in contact with Speighty, can they ask him to let me know how much he wants to play for?
