Mind would be Davis, Feijen, Van den Berg, Souquet, Chamat and Immonen.

I think its 6 in a team not sure would have Ortmann and possibly Raj Hundal as reserves.

cos he has the experience and he knows how to play the americans especially when he played strickland a couple of years back.

He is quality i was unsure about him at first moving over to 9ball but he is a very cool player.

I think it should be the top.6 from the Euro Tour.
But if i had a choice of a Brit i would go with Imran or Daryl.
I think theres a strong possibility that they will try and get ronnie to play though.

Only one change for me from Chris's Team...replace Engert with Alex Lely as Engert's Mosconi Cup record is terrible (for some weird reason).

Surely Van Den Berg has to sneak in? 1 Euro Tour win and two finals this season, would be in my team anyway, along with Ortmann (C) (as Mika didn't do enough for me last year, some strange decisions), Mika, Ralf, Neils & Hohmann.

Beekers played very well in the Norwegian9ballchallenge and should have beaten Immonen in the semi. He playd well the hole tournament.

I was there Mika should count his lucky stars he got past Brian. To his credit Brian played extremely well and to be fair you should of seen his match against Jasmine Ouschan that match should of been on TV. 5-1 and 6-3 down he thought back to lead 8-6 one visit pool at its best.

Never seen he play before but he is a class act but Mosconi... maybe in the forseeable future.

I would also go for the top 6 on the Euro Tour.
Methinks they deserve it

Wild guess:

Niels Feijen, ranked as nr 1 in the world
Thorsten Hohmann, 14-1 Champion
Ralf Souquet, BCA Open Champion and European Champion
Ronnie O'Sullivan, Sky needs a snookerplayer
Mika Immonen, Marcus Chamat, or N.v.d. Berg

Was discussing this with Ortmann and Drago and they both said that they had heard that Mosconi would have only 5 players a team this year.

My dreamteam for Mosconi:

Niels Feijen,
Thorsten Hohmann,
Mika Immonen,
Tony Drago,
Marcus Chamat

This would be a fun team to watch, and also very good players. Feijen ranked nr 1, Hohmann and Immonen are former world pool champions and Chamat has bronze in the two past world pool champions I think...? Tony Drago has a bronze in the World Pool Championship, is a World Pool Master and plays terrific pool and the audience loves him. So if Sky needs a snooker-player or famous player, they should pick him.

If they do not pick him, they should pick Ralf Souquet who is steady as a rock, but a boring player...

At Roy, not one of my favorite players are in if we pick your dreamteam. So no need to go and watch it then.

History shows that there is more often than not an englishman in the side, which is important for sky as this gives the english viewers a little more interest. I would guess that there will be an englishman, hopefully a pool player, not Davis or O'sullivan, although they could settle for Drago, as he is well known in England through snooker.

Thorsten Hohmann is the current World number 1, its not Feijen anymore. My team would be:

Mika Immonen
Ralf Souquet
Nick Van Den Berg
Niels Feijen
Oliver Ortmann (Captain)
Thomas Engert

If an Englishman had to be chosen I think it should be Daryl and if a snooker player has to be chosen I think it should be Tony Drago (although he does have a reputation for twitching!).
