Recorded last year in Nottingham this match was a race-to-11 8-ball match for £1000 per man.

The first showing will be on www.cuesport.tv this evening at 10:20pm and will be in the schedule for at least 2 weeks - it will then become VOD.

How come it's only on at specific times? What's wrong with being able to watch on demand? 10:50 is way past my bedtime :)

I know I am too late Riggers as you have already watched it! But you can watch on demand! Scroll down the schedule and just click on the thumbnail it should then load up.

that will be due to download speed - the player will automatically detect your speed and feed you the appropriate file from a selection of 7.

It does work best at 800kbps and better.

just watchin it now....
dear oh dear Lee - what a chance to go 7-2 in front that was......
enjoyin it tho so far....

let me rejoin the action and then get back to you....

CUESPORT TV - you need some Ossie American style commentary plaid over the top of this to keep it extra interesting! ;) let me know if you require a commentator to spice it up.... lol

well, just seen the match for the first time in its entirety.

Lee - you should be chomping at the bit for a rematch. From 6-2 up you have gifted Gareth 6 racks and he ran the match from 8-7 up....

fair play to Gareth for 2 nice dishes at the end but there really only should have been one winner here....

Oh well - im sure there will be a rematch very soon.... entertaining nevertheless, still required some US commentary from yours truly attached tho... ;)

Oz

Well I'd say I'm a 50% better player since then, especially mentally and I'd be very happy for a rematch sometime. I think the viewing public deserve it :)

It would have to be a slightly longer race though.

It's good to look back on and learn from your mistakes and well done for Cuesport TV for showing it.

All credit has to go to Gareth because he just didn't miss in the second half of the match. Given that I hardly let him have a sniff in the first 8 racks or so it didn't seem to affect him at all and in the end he was a deserving winner.

Would love to play it over again though.

OSSIE - you are welcome to come round and provide commentary at anytime!

All I need to do now is finish the work on the Appleton vs Donlon match. This is 10 hours worth of tapes!!!
