well guys been back for a day now, just woke up after a monster flight that ive never done before man - abu dhabi 9hrs then 5 hr wait in airport then abu dhabi to manila 8 1/2 hrs but got to say was worth every min on that plane to see and enjoy there way of life,oh and watch the 9 ball lol.awesome performance from boyzi and was buzzin his ringer off in the clubs after the tournement had finished especially the far east guys wanting his photo ha ha,great result karl and great to absorb the atmosphere frist hand and truly unbelielable performance from daryl to go and win the event,as people have said alot of people dont really understand how well daryl has done goin out there in there backyard and win this event, just awesome.me and my friend were watchin boyzis match with gomez and when he won the first 4 racks there were about 5 english guys in there compared to a packed house of phillipinos, was a bit scary cheering him on especially sat at the side of a phillipino guy with a holster hangin from his belt with a gun in it,hard to explain how wierd it felt.soon as karl polished the racks off we were cheering and all around just turned and looked at us as if we had 3 heads, bit scary to be honest especially as this geezer had a gun near me lol.i thought the venue was different class, set up was awesome and plenty of seats and open space, food available 24 hours at very cheap prices, big mac meal go large n mcflurry a £1.beer very cheap 20 a bottle in some bars or 40p in the expensive bars lol. watched daz play some great matches in oneside for big cash and did well against gande valle, atmosphere was awesome and to see the likes of van boening v luat, kiamco v alcaide, busta v orcullo play for big cash in the pool hall is something that i will never forget, met efren and earl, played poker with orcullo.had a few games just for small £10ers for the experience and did ok,so many good players in oneside wanting to play for cash, watched this young lad play probably bout 20 and never seen a guy break so hard and was a very good player to boot,my mate who i went with prob did about £200 gamblin, all the locals loved him and his cash but he enjoyed every minute lol.cah out there for the ones who havnt been is hard to earn, wages are very low and many earn about £3 aday or 300 pesos aday.an experience i shall never forget and at times some of the sights i witnessed upset me a bit, kids and families sleepin on streets, children crying because they were hungry.met some really nice people out there who hepled us out a lot showin us certain places. night life was just different class, never witnessed anything like it,i never thougth there was a heaven but believe me there is lolol.dont know if amny of you know dave wright(lefty)but hes been there nearly 2 yrs now and cant blame him for one minute,if he drops to the ground tommorrow he can certainly say hes enjoyed himself ha ha,never got the chance to visit the place where dave lives(peurto galera)but he said its a lot better than where we were and alot cheaper.nice to see scott higgins out there struuting his stuff on the dance floor with about 6 birds tryin to molest him lol,he knows what i mean lol,bit of a mover eh lol.met imran for the first time and good man and osbourne decent kid. didnt know what to expect when i booked our flight 3 days before the event but if some one would have told me it wwas like this i wouldnt have believed them, certainly have to witness it first hand to see what i mean, obviously spent a lot of time in oneside where all the action is and in bars drinkin,oh and to watch the 9 ball lol.with us bein english you get a lot of attention form the locals in the bars as we are very rare in these parts, all good mind you.lots of chinese and japanese people out there but all friendly.so onto next year and hopefully it will be in or around this place, definatley goin again but probably a week before to enter qualifiers and enjoy that part of it.so just a bit of info from my part as i saw it in a nutshell, cant wait for next year and to experience it again.take my hat off to dynamite goin there in oneside and challenging those boys for big cash, even imran said he wouldnt do what daz was doin too intense.soon as matchroom release the details for next year im raring to go lol
anyone else joining me ha ha

Come out of Abu Dhabi Airport next time ye Northern Monkey! I won't let the scary Al Qaeda get ye! ....and don't forget yer still owe me the 10 hours free table time I won for your club n all. Will cash it in shortly since just married the Yorkshire bint out here last Thursday and no doubt will be visiting soon. Grippy jocks never forget freebies. 20 of the Brit lads from here (Abu Dhabi Nomads FC) fly out of Abu Dhabi tonight for this coming weekends Manila Sixes all-aged and veteran football tourney weekend. Lucky barstewards. The new wife won't let me go, how does she expect this marriage to work?

LOL, I'm so jealous of you Eric. I would definately have gone if I had holidays left from work. The reason I'm so jealous is cos next year it's not even in Manila so don't go booking your flight just yet pal! I think it's in Bali. Ignore Danny cos he can be quite rude at times. Like Dave said thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Looking forward to chatting about it first hand over a pint. Maybe next Friday.
