NOTE: For those you who missed last night's nail biting PPV Showdown between Francisco Bustamante and Jayson Shaw from the Simonis Arena and Sandcastle Billiards, it's still available on-line at Accu-Stats.com with the final play beginning around 4 am GMT, Friday the 15th. That's right GMT; we want you Europe Accu-fans to see it too - all for the about the price of a pint in some of London's finer establishments.
Don't say we didn't warn you. You're gonna hear about this one for days.
We knew that there would be there would be sledgehammer breaks, that we would have incredible shot-making, the safeties would be delicate, and that racks would be run...
WARNING: Spoilers! Only read more if you want the full thrilling match report
...Jayson ran a 3 pack on the Diamond 10 foot. All prophecies came to pass.
Scotland's 21 year old Shaw certainly showed us that his multiple Junior titles, and recent Predator tour wins, etc., were no accident tho,' it was World Champion and Hall of Famer Francisco Bustamante who got off to a 4-1 lead.
Jayson, brandishing his new Lucasi Cue, then ran his aforementioned 3 pack until the delicate safeties ensued and he sneaked ahead 6-4.
A few unforced errors plagued both players but, mostly, for Bustie it was at more critical moments. He had caught up, was about to jump ahead again when he faltered to allow Jayson to get even.
Then, Jayson, befuddled by a his second scratch in the match out of nowhere, had arms raised and palms outstretched as he looked to the heavens as if to question, "What did I do to deserve this?"

But you know how the pool Gods are, they even out in the end, especially in a race to 21.
Back and forth they rallied until knotted at 11. Then they clambered and clawed and it was tied at 15, then 16…17…18…19…and we had a race to 2.
Last Warning: Are you sure that you want to read on? It will totally spoil watching the match's reruns available at accu-stats.com!
Jayson missed a 6-ball, Bustey got on the hill…and broke dry.
Jayson, known for his go-for-it-under-pressure approach, attempted a long cut on the one down the long rail. It rattled and hung.
Bustey got on the 2 to play shape on the 3 for a carom on a dangling 10 in the corner. Nothing but net; the 10 dropped and Bustey was fist pumping for joy.
Watch for the DVD.
Accu-Stats would like to thank the Simonis Arena sponsors; Lucasi Cues, Aramith Balls, Samsara Cues, OB Cues, Mezz Cues, and Kamui Tips.
