10 Ball Break & Dish - Event 4 GB9 Event 2019
Time to do the write up of the Ten Ball B&D. Could never be as exciting as the massive £2,750 prize fund on offer at the previous event after Tom Staveley and Chris Seville reduced the prize pot to a more humble £660 after taking home £1,100 and £990 for their respective 4 and 6 ball runs.
You'd expect ticket sales to be subdued at this event with a starting prize fund unddeer the magical £1K mark, but not so, and a magnificent £475 worth of tickets were sold, added to the £660 carried over meant the three lucky participants would be playing for a grand total of £1,135, a not too shabby £113.50 per ball.

As is often the case, the draw was actually more exciting than the actual three attempts... A bit of an anticlimax this time, hurting even more so, after the thrilling time we had at the previous tournament... It's a bit of a Catch 22 situation... You want people to win big for an exciting show, but you also want the pot to build up too - unfortunately, it's not possible to have both.
Here's the video of the three attempts...

In a nutshell, we were back to the usual rotten racks, (I don't know where the good racks came from last time, but the usual loose ones were back with a vengence at this event) so there were two dry breaks from the two first attempts, but then...
Chris Seville made a ball, and then decided to play on, despite an incredibly low percentage chance of success, but you'll have to watch the video to see if you think he made the right decision.

And so, we come to the best part about this forum thread - the rollover amount for the next event is...
£1,135
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, watched the draw, watched the attempts, played the game, and the volunteers who picked the raffle ticket and held the camera for the videos.
See you all in November!
