Good luck to Mark Gray defending his title this weekend in Belgium.

Other Pro9'ers out there include Imran Majid, Finlay Laing, Tony Drago - and some other English players that I've not met before.

I lost to Daryl 7-4 in the round of 16...

Semi final scores

Peach 8 v 1 Jungo

Yes, great tournament and I played at times my top game.....mainly when I needed to!
My form has come back to like i was playing when i won my world 9ball title, mainly through me piling the hours in on the practice table!.....its easy to rest on your laurels and i have been guilty of that, but not any more, the main thing is that we learn from our mistakes....and we all make em lol.
My last 6 tournaments I've finished...
3rd
1st
2nd
1st
3rd
1st
......so I must be doing something right lol.......roll on the next one!!

No internet at the venue, but hopefully we'll have a full report for Peach like this one we did for Granite last year... http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=1654 ...on our front page tomorrow morning!

In the meantime - well done Peachy!

yes daryl was back to his very best this tournament, he had that look about him that you knew he was going to win and from the quarter finals he played like it......congrats pal!!

this event really is top quality, apart from a few teething problems this by far one of the best open events, also the city of leuven is lovely too with great bars and restaurants aplenty!!

hope to go back next year!!!!

Finally, after much brain ache, I've finished editing the Longoni Benelux Open article... Please give it a gander, it was a real labour of love, and despite not being as timely as most of our articles, Pro9 being beaten to the punch with getting this out, despite all that, this is certainly the best looking and most comprehensive report you'll see anywhere!
