Raj has beaten Marcus in the final of this event for the last 2 years...
in 2009, admittedly by the finest of margins, with an 11:10 victory in the final, and again in 2010 "The Hitman" retain his title with yet another defeat of tournament host and local favourite Marcus Chamat, this time with a more solid 11:7 scoreline.
He's 7-1 up against Marcus now, but I don't know what round this is... Anyone?

Raj won 9-5... I know the final is tomorrow sometime so he's fairly deep into the event, but don't know for sure.

Raj won the 10 Ball Challenge last night, narrowly beating Mika Immonen in the final 9-8. Along the way he eliminated Mats Schjetne (9-7) in the Semi-Finals and Marcus Chamat (9-5) in the Quarter Finals. Mika beat semi-finalist Tony Drago (9-6) to gain his place in the final showdown, Drago has already ended Rodney Morris's hopes in the Quarter-Finals with a 9-4 scoreline. This 24 player special 10 Ball event accompanies the main 9 Ball Open tournament which continues with the Last 64 stage this morning and will forge ahead until a champion is determined this evening.

Raj and Rodney were neck and neck until 5-5, but then Rodney changed gear and won 11-5. Congrats Rodney.
