i know lee, daz in 16th 4th in world 8 ball and us open winner !! FFS, about time barry hearn took over the game, away from the muppets at wpa, why dont the players break away, like they did in darts.

Pretty funny that they had the us open as a ranking event for 2011 but not last Year..
Good news least there is around 8-9 events this year so the rankings could take shape and be a good reflection come end of year..

do you actually get paid more for a higher rankin? if not who gives a poopie?.... is it the fact that higher ranks get auto entry into sum events?

Gaz, it matters for sponsorship as well as invitations to major events. It's very important for top players and does affect the $$$ they earn. The WPA handling of the ranking list has been shambolic.

Although i see Scott Higgins is currently in 23rd place and second of the Brits. And there must be a new boy to the UK scene as Thomas Engert from GBR is currently in 24th.......what a liberty (the Engert from GBR....not Scott being 23rd) [ This message was edited by: Ads on 2011-03-07 00:13 ]
