Is this still a possible plan for the future of the tour? I think it would be even better if we played Rotation because that game is absolutely awesome.

possibly one 10ball event per season could work but obv would need major backing, 10ball events seem to get good participation so why not!?

From what I "hear" 10-Ball gets rid of a lot of the luck in 9-Ball. I think that can only be a good thing...

Yes but 10 Ball will take loads longer than 9 Ball so that would be the big problem! Would have to be race to 7 or something.

Maybe the GB9 Commitee could hold one event of 10ball in a season, making it 6 stops, 5 stops of 9 Ball, 1 of 10 Ball, and the 10 Ball to be called the GB 10 Ball Championships/Masters? I prefer 10ball as a discipline, and I think if there were more events that people would attend, then the whole 'it lasts longer than 9 ball' comments would soon become extinct as people will be up to speed of the game...also, I think 9 Ball events would become quicker as well. Just my views

great idea, imo 10 ball does and will take longer as there is alot more safety play in 10 ball

That is why 10-ball makes more exiting to play than 9-ball, more on safety battle.

Is there alot of interest in 10ball then. I have only played it a few times but did enjoy it and the fact that the luck eliment is seriously reduced I feel it makes it better. The series of events that I am running is 9ball but is there more interest in 10ball as there isn't many comps about?? Interesting can I have some feedback pls guys

Hey Phil,
I think having a 10 Ball series will help the UK in general with American Pool in the Country, we have an awesome 9 ball tour in the GB9, and with a 10ball series, I can only imagine it will help the game grow here.
I would like to enter more 10 Ball events rather than 9 ball...sometimes 9 Ball becomes a bore and something new tends to get everyone excited about the game etc

i agree 10 ball def a better game more skillfull cuts most of the luck element out of the game.im sure alot of 9 ball players would be interested in a 10 ball tour.maybe something for gb9 to think about for next year too.

This is very interesting so would players give a better response if my series was 10ball?

Id certainly enter the 10 ball events. If you look accross the globe, there are a lot more tournaments croping up that are 10ball events.

In my opinion, 10 Ball isnt a game that a shot clock should be used. Only 9 Ball is known to be fast game where a shot clock will help keep that title. 10 ball however is alot more safety involved where working out paths of the CB/OB etc may take longer than 30 secs, 45 secs etc. Leave the shot clock malarky out and just shoot some pool

Leave the shot clock malarky out and just shoot some pool ....how about leaving the "slow" players out - who are spoiling a fast paced game !....(the "two-minute-tortoises" !)............anyone who takes more than a minute to decided the right shot in pool shuddn't be playing the game IMO......they shudd take up cricket ! ----------------- The Agent
