Cracking game. Loads of people in attendance. Richie got off to a cracking start and was 5 ahead in no time. Elliott found his form and took the lead backed by a home crowd, eventually got to 24-20 ahead but had started struggling with holding his nerve. He missed a few chances which cost him - Richie finished a 25-24 winner. Full props to Elliott who must have been devastated, but held his head up to shake hands and accept the defeat. A class match. Perhaps Richie vs Martin Chapman next?

I don't understand the graceful in defeat? Can someone explain that please? Does it mean he didn't snap his cue or take a swing at Richard?

Let's just say he hasn't been the best loser in the past. Part and parcel of been young I suppose
Credit to the lad if he turned the corner.

I seemed to have missed a great match up credit to both players for stepping up

Nicky beat me 21-13 pal, he didn't miss much and played very well. I wasn't at my best although had been playing well all week, one of those things I suppose :/. Think there's to be a rematch sometime soon on the diamond
