Apparently the pro's used to play on this size - and they've restored one specifically for this event. Amazing what a difference a foot makes too... If anyone has seen a three-quarter scale snooker table you'll know what I mean... Absolutely enormous in comparison to a standard 9 footer!

I agree, Earl playing really well at moment. Top of Mosconi rankings in the states. From what i can see Van Boening struggling for form at the moment.

just out of interest....does anybody know if there is a 10x5 anywhere in the British Isles? Also have any of you boyz and girls had the privilege of playing on one??? If so...what did you make of the comparison from the standard 9 foot tables? Cheers.

Don't know if there's a 10x5 in the UK but I remember playing on a very nice one in the old Amsterdam Billiards in New York. Apparently it was 100 years old but it had been beautifully restored. Great practice for sharpening up the potting skills!

On a 9ft I think Shane fav 10ft Earl prob best in world as he got most cue power in the game. Plus he playing great again just needs to keep his head lol
