I wish everyone support in the tourne the reason I didn't go was £800,flight,$420 entry to quaifyers,£300accom and if I qualified another £300 for accom that's £1680. Reno was fmore events ie more chance of winning. And it cost 1k not1680 butch for instance has to get to quarters to win about $4000 that's if it is that amount. Min5% tax leaves$3800 roughly £2500 minus cost of flight£750,accom so let's say1k.all of a sudden your on £1500give normall percentage away and he is no better off than if he were working at rileys. Don't get me wrong I honestly hope one of u guys wins it but unless u get to semis then ya not made anything.world rankings dint really matter as they keep cancelling tournes to it means nothing.if there were say 6 events then I agree with you. All the best lads hope u all do well as your in with a great shout.

chris i payed for myself in this event as i couldnt get a backer.

if you come to this event it would cost you £1k with a chance to win $18k. plus spend etc

if you had been offered a place you would of come. If you go to euro tour it costs £500 if its in the hotel with a chance of winning 5k euro and for you to make any money for yourself you have to get to the quarters because you have to give your backer a %.

its only because you played like a clown all year last year that you arent here

i think that your just jealous because your not here you feel you need to slate the tournament off meanwhile cant pot more than two balls on the trot in a proper tournament.

in the rileys 1 day opens you do ok but big ones cant do nothing

well reno/vegas was longer and more expensive so really it cost u more to go there as it would here.more events reno at 5k-6k winner each one but none ranking event bar tables. and this a world title

you wanted to come here because u went to your backer to see if send you but he obviously didnt want to and for that reason you making out no value..lol

all you do these days is have a pop at tournaments and promoters /organisers.. u seem very bitter tubbs and thats how it comes across

dynamite..never seems to amaze me the pool world

plus looking at the big picture

there only 64 players here double elim to last 32
plus it 8ball our strongest game in uk so good a chance as anyone

dont win a match you get $300 win one match get $500 qualify for last 32 get $1000

get to last 16 u win money $2500

win the event you get 18k plus a world title opens a few doors and gives great chance for sponsors and invites to big events and probably great chance of a spot in mosconi cup,so there much more value here than euro tours or any tournament in america/europe other than us open.

dynamite.. happy with value :-)

I feel a money match coming on here with butch's final comments, lol. Not sure if those comments were warranted though as chris has just slagged the comp off, not anyone personally from what I've read and understood.
