FREE PRO9 CLASSIFIED ADVERTS There's good news, and bad news! The "Bad News" is that you still can't sell your second-hand cues in Pro9's forums... THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU CAN NOW GET A FREE CLASSIFIED ADVERT IN THE NEW "AD LADDER" ON THE RIGHT-HAND-SIDE OF THE PRO9 WEB SITEKeep it simple, just like Twitter, create your advert with a maximum of 140 characters (including spaces) - include your preferred contact details (phone number is ideal). Then send an email with your advert details to editor(at)pro9.co.uk - (do NOT post your advert in the forums) - free classifieds will be available on a first-come first-served basis. The Small Print: In the true spirit of free classified adverts, these are offered for individuals wanting to sell genuine second-hand cue sport products on a non-commercial/non-trade basis. Be aware that entitlement to free classified adverts is limited to a maximum of two free adverts a year, per individual, and adverts run for a maximum of two weeks, please tell us if you have sold your item. We reserve the right to refuse any advert for any reason. We can accept absolutely NO LIABILITY for anything - even if we make a mistake in the advert text - buyer/seller beware. On a personal note... Many people know that I've been wanting to introduce something like his for ages - a place on Pro9 where our readers can find genuine second-hand bargains without the forums being ruined by adverts, and while this may have an effect on shop sales, hopefully this will be a popular feature and the extra traffic gained will compensate. Please take care that the transaction you make is fool-proof... We've all heard the stories of sales gone bad.If in doubt, remember it could actually work out cheaper to pay a bit more and buy it new from a reputable shop. You are at the very top of the free ads section, above that is reserved for paying advertisers.
Think of it as a ladder, the very top rung is prestigious, high visibility, and naturally high rent - then as you descend the ladder, the price drops too!

Top of the ladder is for a full year, and it'll be more than you're asking for your cue. It should hopefully attract a corporate business advertiser, but unless you're an industry leader, international brand, manufacturer, or wholesale distributor you won't be interested in the price. You know what they say, "If you've got to ask..." People WILL see your free-ad - for instance, when this thread reaches around 15 posts I'm pretty sure it will be alongside this text, and all my featured tournament articles will reach down there too. Plus, everyone always wants to see who's at the bottom of the list for some reason! Good luck with your sale. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-10-01 12:17 ]

A couple of items in the free-ads have been reduced by the owners to get a quick sale... Huge bargains being offered here, one is worth over £1,000 new, and going for £275 now! Don't miss out on this opportunity to grab the deal of the decade - and help out fellow Pro9'ers in the process! Some of these items are also listed on eBay so move fast so you don't lose out.

WOW!!! Just a quick reminder... Please don't advertise Mosconi tickets in the forums, you must use the "free-ads" service to keep the forums clear for discussion as much as anything else. Matchroom don't mind us advertising tickets if someone genuinely can't make it for an unexpected reason, and as long as no one is asking more than the face value of the tickets there's no problem as far as I know. Finally, if you use the "free-ads" service please let me know if the sale has finished! Cheers, and happy shopping! [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-12-03 14:44 ]
