Two points Mr. Big Dave,
1: Why do you have "Basic 9 Ball Rules as well as official WPA rules?
2: I, as a BCA qualified National Referee know that the game starts when the cue ball is struck by the cue, you obviously think differently!!!!

Errrrrrrrrr!!! OK 1: I wanted a REALLY simple set of 9-Ball rules for people new to the game to absorb "at-a-glance" - I failed there really - I may change them to an even more brief version. 2. I think the "The game begins with cue ball in hand behind the head string." is more to do with the "where-and-when" of how to start the game maybe? I'm hoping to add etiquette and equipment rules later... Any other suggestions or games you'd like included? 3 Cushion Billiards perhaps?

I would like to see the rules for a few other games too that aren't on there 1. As you mention, 3 Cushion Billiards 2. Equal Offence 3. Rotation 4. Honlulu (All 'Call Shot' Kick shots) 5. 3 Ball 6. 6 Ball 7. 10 ball. 8 Bowlliliards. (Bowling Pool) 9 Basic Pocket Billiards. (Any 8 balls to win) 10. Full Rack Banks (15 Bal Banks) This pretty much covers it Hats off to ya Dave, the site is going pretty darn good Take care everyone Willie

You're definitely a hard taskmaster Wizard, but they're coming... And MORE!!!
In the meantime perhaps you'd be interested on the fact that you can now translate this website into Korean? Maybe? Soon? Possibly!!!
Still working on it to be honest!

OK, so it may seem a little strange to be offering auto translation to our users but when you look at these stats from our bandwidth providers it becomes a bit more obvious.

Cut-throat?
A fun 1/5/10£ game for 3 or 5 players...
Dave knows the rules.
Course he does.
BS.
PS. When Big Dave Knight breaks, the 9 goes in. Always. Or else.

Dude...
I actually used to play a three-way "Cut Throat" every week, at "The SLOB"... (the Sir Loin Of Beef public house) on the Eastern Road in Southsea, Portsmouth!
Unfortunately the game is too easy on the American style table for anyone with a modicum of ability!
KILLER translates well to the American table though.
But, you're right... I do like to try to scare that nine in, if I see my opponent racking a loose one at the old nine ball!

What? It's true! It's not possible to have a decent game of Cut-Throat on an American table if you've played a bit.
That was the worst thing English Pool ever did, changing from spots and stripes to yellows and reds. It killed-off so many brilliant games when they did that.

Isn't it fascinating to see that some of the player profiles get translated and some don't?
I'll move the translation button down to the bottom of the page later, but I just want to draw a little attention to it for a while and check that it works (and have a little fun with it too).
Strange how a lot of the pictures disappear. I guess the software attempts to translate some of the URLs? You'd think Babelfish would make sure that their own logo would still appear!
Anyway, here's my name in Japanese... Well I suppose it is?

I've expanded the Rules section on the left hand side-bar of the website. It now includes: - More pocket billiard games rules - Carom game rules - Tournament Rules (etiquette and referees guidance) - Permissible Equipment specifications. I was thinking about adding a game a week, but I could contain my excitement! Enjoy!
