My two reasons, why i need one: First, because i am the only one in our club who does the tip replacement, polishing the shafts etc. Second: when i check the roundness of the tip the when i finish, i always make a last correction...and i hate that mistake ) ok, there is a last reason, i like to have something for free )))

Hello, I'd love one of those please. It would be nice to be able to try to change my own tips for once!
Thanks very much,
Chris.

I'd like one of these as I'm a poor student who cant always afford to pay for someone else to tip my cues and wants to learn how to do it myself.

I want a pocket lathe because fifteen years ago, I met a young boy, an orphan - both his parents had been killed in some sort of bizzare accident involving trees...that's it, a tree fell on them heh, they were both crushed.
This young man, this young man had nothing to his name, nothing, except a dream. That dream was to own a stable with prize winning horses in every...bit of the stable.
But tradgey struck! He was afflicted by a strange disease that affected his speech so that he could only communicate by raising his eyebrows - once for yes, twice for no.
"If only i had a pocket lathe so that i could train my horses to win the Grand National and the Derby", he thought.
That boy, that same boy wrote to me just 5 weeks ago, asking if I could get him a pocket lathe so that his dream could come true.

I want one because playing on the tour, you need to retip pretty often and I don't know anyone that retips cues. But if I had one of these babies I could do it myself.
