A Great Guy, met him when he was resident pro at the Masters Club in Stockport over 30 years ago.
One of his claims to fame is that he gave Alex Higgins the black eye that the Hurricane claimed was caused by a kick from A HORSE!

played paul just the once in my 1st year in a world champ qulifier beat me 7; 5 but was so modest afterwards and offered advice which when given by a person held in such high esteem you take it on board Wish i knew him better as this world doesn,t have enough Paul Medati.s in it

I am Paul's granddaughter and would like to thank you, on behalf of all the family, for all your kind words. For those of you who knew my Grandad and would like to attend the Funeral, arrangements are as follows:

Wednesday 10th December, 12 noon at St Josephs Church, St Joseph's Drive, Ordsall, Salford M5 3JP, then 1pm at Agercroft Crematorium, Langley Road, Salford, M27 8SS

The wake will be held at The Willows, Willows Road, Salford, M5 5FQ.

We request donations to MacMillan Cancer Support as an alternative to flowers please.
