Errrrhmmmm! Obviously I know your real name, but you've got to share it if you want the free £75 spot - no name, no spot... Want it? The odds are looking good. No rollovers, someone will win it... "It could be YOU!!!"

By the way, if you can't play yourself, you can still enter and give/sell/sponsor another player with the spot!

I want to play on the EPT as it's a big step forward in the UK for the other American Pool disciplines besides 9-ball.

A 1-pocket tour next maybe?

I want to play on the EPT because pool will surely become very popular in the UK over the next 2-3 years and playing on the EPT will be a good opportunity to become recognised in the pool industry.

Colin Rennison (maddog) WINS a FREE £75 ENTRY into the Empire Pool Tour with Pro9.co.uk

Colin's answer to the question: "Why do you want to play on the Empire Pool Tour?" was:

"I would like to play on the EPT tour because it would give me an idea of how much I need to improve my game and playing against such players will improve my game I'm sure.

Seems to me that Daryl has done an excellent job getting this tour off the ground in a professional manner which can only be good for the game in the UK."

The first 49 correct answers in the Pro9.co.uk forums were numbered 1 to 49 and then the draw on this Saturday's main Lotto draw chose the winner.

***Bonus Ball was number 12***

As you can see I re-entered people to cover the extra numbers, rewarding the "first come first served" basis, so everyone had at least TWO chances to win. As it happens it wasn't necessary as the bonus ball was a low number anyway.

Congratulations Colin, and good luck in the tournament.

And here was me thinking that it was the best answer that won...

:-?

If you're reading this Daryl, that was only my second best marketing nugget. There's plenty more where that came from...

Lottery balls indeed!

Well thats a turn up, me actually winning something via the lottery!!

Thanks very much to Dave and Daryl for the competition/prize, I think its a great idea to have entry to a big tournament as a prize.

I will be using my prize to enter the round being held at Harrow Rileys in August as this is my local club.

Thanks again,

Colin

Well, I've no idea how/why this post from 2006 has been bumped to the top, but nice to see a blast from the past once in a while I suppose!
