I've known Diamonds dad just as long as i've known The Diamond himself and he's one heck of a stand up guy just like his son.

Simon showed a genuine concern for my dad just before Xmas and i'll always be grateful for that.

My thoughts go to you and your family old pal.

Thank you everyone.

My father, Chris, passed away peacefully this morning.

I don't want to even begin to explain what my family is going through right now or attempt to describe the kind of person he was...suffice to say...those that knew him will know.

Its great that we have such a strong community here and that I have made so many friends up and down the country over the years. I always look forward to events so I can catch up with everyone.

I will not post for a while but I will keep reading.

Your friend

Simon

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Simon, I have been down that very same road, that you're on now, and so, I understand that it will take time for you to get through this, but no matter what, you have got many good friends here, who have the greatest respects for you, including myself.

You and family have my deepest sympathies and respects, and I hope that the support from all your friends and family, and time itself, will help you all get through this.

My sincerest thoughts are with you and family at this time.

Willie

Heard this very sad news this morning. In know Si's dad has been very poorly for a few weeks and this will be heart wrenching for Si personally. To be able to even post on here so soon shows a lot of character but that's what we've come to expect from Si.

Si - deepest sympathy and condolences to you and all your family from Shir and me. One thing you know you won't be short of right now is the support of your many friends.

I don't know you personally Simon, only through the forum and BPPPA events. But just wanted to say, sorry to hear your sad news.

I'm sure your many pool friends will also be thinking of you in this difficult time.
