There was a funny one on a certain radio station this morning regarding 'half price fuel'. Did anyone hear it?
It made the traffic at the tyne tunnel not so long for me at 7:45am!

I saw Yahoo News were claiming that it was going to "rain snails" after heavy rains and high winds in France! Were there no other pranks going on? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-04-02 09:06 ]

Andy Warden was claiming to have won a Solihull weekly knock out, but it was just too far fetched for anyone to fall for it. Everybody believed the famous 'spaghetti tree' BBC spoof when they re-ran it in the club, but nobody fell for the Warden April fool.

I think Patrick Moore said once that the planets were in such an alignment that they affected gravity on earth. So, if you jump in the air at 11am you will stay in the air longer!
I think the BBC actually had people call in saying that it had worked!

I sent the entire company an email with a excel spreadsheet attached - on opening the spreadsheet it prompted you to enter your age, and once you did this a message appeared on your screen saying 'you have pressed the wrong button, your computer will now self destruct!'
I found it funny, even if nobody in the IT department did...
