The company I work for Hold there own olympics every 4 years with over 700 employees form all over the world
gathering in Denmark to compete in a host of different sports one of which is Pool which I have been enterd into.

Obviously I will want to take my cues with me as i would not want to play with the council cues that they have.

I have never been abroad before and taken anything so presious to me as my cues. What is the crack with getting my beloved cues
over to Denmark with me safley.

Would they have to go in the belly of the plane?

How safe would they be?

could I take just my playing cue in a small case as hand luggage?

Should I put my playing cue in my suit case?

If any of you could share Any thoughts/ideas or previous experences that may help i would greatly apreciate it.

cues have to go underneath. i use a big holdall that has a handle and wheels which i get my cue case and lots of clothes in. it's about the same size as a cricket bag and costs about £20 from argos.

I've never been on a plane with my cues, but I did ask about this once and you can't carry them on with you as hand luggage. They have to go in a holdall like the ones advertised in the ProShop! (free plug for Dave there!).

Apparantly, they're classed as an offensive weapon so it's not even anything to do with the size. That's actually quite silly because at the time I had a metal case just wide enough for one two piece cue, which would do more damage than any cue yet the case would've been allowed on with me!

I even suggested locking the case and sending the keys by post or handing them in to the stewards (so I wouldn't be able to access the cues on the plane if I wanted to) and that wasn't allowed.

If I wanted to attack people on a plane, I wouldn't use hundreds of pounds worth of cues. I'd use snakes.
