There's a ton of snow outside!!! We hardly ever get snow in Portsmouth because we're so far South and Portsmouth is actually an island and the surrounding sea keeps us cool in the summer and warmer in the winter, but there's plenty out there now!!! There is a blanket of snow outside (Birmingham) but the sun is now out so it'll melt soon. I haven't seen proper snow (over a foot deep) since I lived in Bath when I was about 5. Lived in Plymouth most of my life and as you say Dave the surrounding sea keeps it away.
