I went to my local pool and snooker shop today and bought my self a bunjee break/jump cue with a phenolic tip ferrule combination for £130. It breaks a ton and it sounds like a gun going off, compared to my last j/b cue it is so much easier to jump with and I can now pull off a full ball jump no problem, all I need to do now is learn to control the white. Any tips on controlling the white would be useful and please feel free to tell me what you think of my cue. Sorry about the picture quality. Admin Edit: Sorted out picture - hope this helps![ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-12-30 00:34 ]

I think that the best thing to do is take some time to practice your jump shots, but try to be more deliberate in what you're attempting to do with the snowball and/or object ball, like playing a jump safety or to try and make the ball, etc You'll be able to learn alot more and be able to fine tune your jump shots this way and also practice various layouts and jump shots scenarios and try using a little english on the cueball as well so that you can see what works best and what doesn't work at all I hope that this is of some help or another, good luck Willie ----------------- If ya got 'em, smoke 'em [ This message was edited by: TheWizard on 2007-12-30 08:54 ]
