I've still not heard of any, apart from the odd rumour I'm afraid Willie, I'm guessing the first will be a private owner! [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-12-18 18:31 ]

Dangit, it's a shame because I think that alot of players, including myself can learn a great deal from playing 3 cushion , what do you think? Has anyone on the site tried playing 3 cusion? Willie

I had a short lesson with David Bare in Paris... He told me how to play some shots and I didn't believe they would work, it just seemed illogical, but he insisted I tried shooting them and he was right. Quite remarkable stuff. An absolutely beautiful game if played well, yet still a lot of fun when played badly! If I ever find a table in the UK I'll be sure to let you all know.

Thanks Big Dave, I remember that Pot Black Magazine used to have promotional pics of clubs that had SAM K-Steel tables, and I remember in a pic of the American Pool Club in Northern SC, Leeds, there was a carom table in the pic as I distinctly remember there being no pockets on one of the tables in the pic, but that was like 9/10 years ago now Willie

I reckon Fuengirola would be the smartest place to play if anyone fancies a game of 3 cushion. A lot of 'social' clubs pop up on Green lanes and to be brutally honest they're not really interested in providing a pleasant customer experience. I'd hate to think of someone strolling down out of interest with their own cue for a knock on a three cushion table. The Turks and Kurds are not friendly neighbours in their homeland, and this carries over to North London. They're a 'lively' crowd, in fact I'd go as far as saying the actual gangs on Green Lanes are insane... http://observer.guardian.co.uk/crimedebate/story/0,,841952,00.htmlA shame really, if semih sayginer is anything to go by to judge Turkish three cushion talent, you'll be guaranteed a good game. Anyway you'll have a good chance of some winter sunshine in Spain, it's blooming freezing here in London. Oh dear! Chelsea have just scored
