I had a great time in London last night with Rico Dik's band "The Pressure Room" at The Metro in Oxford Street. Nice to see a few pool players there including Steve Folan, Lionel Brown, Greg De'Silva and Johan Ruijsink was there too with his lovely lady Krystal. (Even Raj Hundal turned up too!) Thanks for coming. As usual after a chat and a beer outside with Rico, we all piled in a car and headed back to Victoria, where ONE POCKET was the game "de jour"!!! For the first time you can actually watch a home-made video of the band playing one of their tracks in "The Pro Tube" section - Thanks to the mysterious "Don Peppino" for uploading so promptly! Last night i witnessed a phenomenon. After Rico sent me an invitation to this gig i said to myself "Greg, we have a dilemma. Pool or watching Rico sing. now i hear you all, of course its pool. But curiosity got the better of me and off we went with GREGCAM in hand..........Glad we all went, THE BAND ROCKED.....Believe it or not! See for yourself.... sorry about the creative camera twirling and so....got a bit carried away. Cropped off Rico's head earlier in the shot, it was simply that i was surprised at how good they were.
