I used to play off 4. Played Junior County golf when i was 17. Developed bad case of the dreaded "yips" in my mid-20's. Gave up and went back to snooker and pool. Haven't hit a golf ball in over 2 years. Just prefer to pass on any advice if anyone wants it

I am rubbish at golf, but enjoy it immensely. Its a great game, good exrecise and a great feeling on the odd occasion that I hit a good shot! Unlike pool, where I expect to pot balls and gets frustrating when I play bad ha ha
Tony - King Cobra Driver, Yonex V Mass Irons, Wilson Putter and RAM lob wedge!

Sorry to hear you got the yips cue of thunder, I was a darts player, got "dartitis" so had to play snooker and then pool. Unlike pool, where I expect to pot balls and gets frustrating when I play bad ha ha

I was turning pro 2 yrs ago and worked at a golf club for 5 yrs. I went off the scene for 18 mths and now getting back into it this year. HCP is now 9 and some say im a bandit I joined a 9 hole golf course which is very tough. Sharpened my game up no end. Best round 69 (-2). Best round this year 73 (+1) 18 holes Bedale GC. Best round this year 31 (level) 9 holes Headlam GC. (Home course) Worst round - I dont add the numbers up at the end Longest Drive 421 yards in a matchplay tournament at St Pierre GC, Wales. Titleist 905T Driver, Taylormade RAC LTII's, Vokey Spin milled wedges and Scotty Cameron Putter. Anyone up for a game of Scotch doubles at golf? Me and the Locomotive are up for it. dark_horse..............its not how you drive its how you arrive!!
