i agree with you dean. All the pool ranking events for both the adults and the juniors has gone to pot, along with making life alot more difficult for the poker rankings too. Its a shame but we'll have to wait and see what they do with the place

From a pool players point of view I hope they just stick 30 9ft tables in every venue and a load of "help yourself" fridges.
From a business view, I hope they turn them into REAL cocktail lounges with pool tables. Ditch the optics, ditch the pumps and get top quality coffee machines in. Ditch the tacky interior and whole pub feel.
Someone has already proved this works and is definately the future of pool halls even though it might not suit the professional player completely. For us to have public tables still to play on, it has to be this way.
