This is amazing. Just one GB9 member has already raised more than we raised in total at last years PMT event!

So the current total is £485 plus £128.33 in gift aid and I have applied for a community cashback payment which means RBS (my employer) would add a further £250, so the grand total is currently £863.33 I want to raise the bar and reach the £1000.00 by the time I do my rowing event on Thursday.....keep donating chaps

Ask yourself 2 questions: 1. Am I a GB9 tour player? 2. Have I donated to Phil's just giving page? If you answered yes+no then please show your support for this fantastic effort. There are so many worthwhile charity causes catching your attention all the time and we can't all afford to donate to all of them all the time. So if money is tight or you don't feel you can justify a substantial donation then please just donate a quid because it's the thought that matters and it's all a boost for Phil prior to his gargantuan task on Thursday. I have some more good news....I just got this email from RBS who give up to £250.00 community cashback payments when certain criteria is achieved: Thank you for submitting your evidence for the above application. Your evidence has now been accepted. We will now approve your application; Community Cashback Approval is always on the 1st of each month. After the approval of your application a payment will be made to your charity/organisation. Charities Trust payment run is on the 15th of each month, therefore the payment will reach their bank account on the 20th of the month. This is on the back of this email that I got last night..... We have now verified your chosen charity’s aims and objectives fit within the RBS Community Cashback criteria. To keep track of your application status please log on to https://rbs.ctcorporate.org, click Community Cash Back. What will happen next To enable us to process your request, we do need evidence of the amount you have raised or the number of hours you gave as a regular volunteer. This is typically a letter or receipt from the organisation you have supported or if you have used an online fundraising page please provide the link of your fundraising page. You can submit your evidence in the following ways: If your fundraising was carried out using the Charities Trust ‘Sponsor-me’ service, all we need is your Event ID emailed to rbscommunitycashback@charitiestrust.org quoting your application number in the subject line By Email, scan and email your evidence to rbscommunitycashback@charitiestrust.org quoting your application number in the subject line By fax to Charities Trust, FAO RBS Community Cashback on 0151 286 2360 Post to: RBS Community Cashback Evidence Charities Trust Suite 20 - 22 Century Building Tower Street Liverpool L3 4BJ Once we receive this information your Community Cashback application can be finalised and payment made to your charity. You will receive another email confirming when the payment of the Community Cashback award has been paid to your charity. If we don’t already hold the banking details we will send a letter to your charity/organisation requesting the bank account details in order to make a BACs payment. We can only accept official banking papers, therefore a copy paying in slip; a copy bank statement or a void cheque would be required. If you have a contact at the charity and are able to provide Charities Trust with the charity bank account info on official banking papers, then this would be a great help. Timescales Please send confirmation of the amount you have raised or your volunteer hours to Charities Trust. We would be grateful if you could do this within 30 days of the date of your application. On receipt of this, Charities Trust will finalise your award and pay this direct to your chosen charity or community group bank account. If you can not provide the required evidence within your 30 day timeline please email the Charities Trust RBS Community Cashback support team on rbscommunitycashback@charitiestrust.org quoting your application number in the subject line and we will agree next steps with you. It’s a mandatory requirement that everyone employed by the Group records all Community involvement activity they have been involved in during working hours. This also includes weekends and bank holidays where you’ve claimed time in lieu. If you’ve completed any volunteering activity since 1 January 2011, please log this on the Activity Tracker now at http://www.group.rbsgrp.net/events/gisr/add.asp Warm regards, Nicki Elbourn Charities Trust Senior Account Administrator So £250.00 extra in the pot! Thank you RBS!!

Just thought I'd bump this back near the top for the insanity personified that is Phil Morgan.
Also, seen my good mate Dave Keown tonight who explained to me why the charity is so close to his and his family's heart. It's nice to be humbled by the Pool world, doesn't happen too often.

Thanks for the bump up mate......I am suffering with a bad sore throat that is getting worse, it kept me awake most of the night, I need to shift it and fast!! I will still do the row come what may but anything that makes it harder seems to be making it 4-5 times harder if that makes sense? Dave made a VERY kind donation indeed, what a nice guy!! Ben, Dave and all the other kind people out there......THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SUPPORT SO FAR!! I do still need more donations though, I would love to go to the GB9 saying I'd raised £1000.00 single handed!!

18.75 miles on a rower what an effort that has to be as hard if not harder than any marathon. One day to go lets get Phil to his target.
Get well very soon Phil and cheers Ben your a top bloke.
