Ballsy play - the coin flip for 20K - and a harsh result, you had to go for it though!

Bad luck Dave, gutted for you, after chatting to you at Croydon about the show and how you were saying it was one of the best experiences of your life i really thought right up untill the end you were at least going to walk away with the 20 grand. You were a great sport and its a shame you diddn't achieve a good sum of money to take home with you. You couldn't of played the game any better. All the best Dave, Damian

Keep smiling and stay HAPPY folks, see you all soon

I watched the whole show, and i am truly sorry Dave it didnt work out better. I hope u dont mind me asking though, did you actually recieve an official cheque for 10 pence? and did you get taxed on your winnings?

Regardless of the prize though, its great to hear that you enjoyed and can reflect form the whole dond experience positively.

robin hood, i dont think that anybody gets taxed on their winnings on dond. I remeber that Noel used to say at the start of most shows that it was tax free. Perhaps they pay the tax on it as well as paying you the prize money

Simmo, unlucky mate.
I was hoping to catch your episode before I was due to come back out to Africa, but sods law, it was on the night I left!
My wife has sky plus-ed it for me, but I know the result now!

Bet the experience was worth it though?

You don't pay tax on gameshow winnings in this country. It's like the lottery.
