Craig

Good luck with the outcome.
Might be more than £60.00 fine

I was flashed crossing Tower bridge doing 38mph at 2am...nobody about,no threat to society and Iwas fined £320.00 with 4points on my licence...did not contest it,just paid the fine.

This was my first offence!!

My advice..plead guilty and don't contest it.

I just admit how fast I was going to the copper when they pull me over and when they notice I'm in a wheelchair after I dribble a bit, the copper usually lets me off ;-)

Warning this approach does not work with a speed camera.

CD = I can asure you that you are enough of a dribbler to get off your next offence ;-)

I know it was an innocent mistake Craig. I assume it was the same night me and Cooper beat you and Sy to level the sets...? Was it frustration? I know you don't speed intentionally.

For all those people who think its acceptable to speed in built up areas here is some food for thought....

At 30mph, your victim has an 85% chance of survival.

At 40mph, your victim has an 85% chance of being killed.

Speeding on an empty motorway is one thing (not something I am condoning), speeding on a built up street is another. In my professional capacity I have had to visit parents whos child has been killed on their own street. Its not a pleasant experience. Why was their child killed? No real reason other than the driver producing some lame excuse for speeding. You carry that death with you for the rest of your life.

Sorry to preach, this topic is just a little too close to home for me to not say anything.

Si
