Well folks D Day has arrived and I just wanted to say a "Big Thank You" to all of you for saying "Hi" in Croydon and asking how I got on.
There are plenty of rumours flying around about how much I won so you will all find out the truth tomorrow on the 2nd April 2008 :-) :-)
See you all soon .............................. maybe ;-)

No_Deal_Mr_Banker!!!

^^^ I was sorely tempted to photoshop it for the April Fool's Day story, "SIMMO WINS £250,000 AND DONATES IT TO GB9 PRIZE FUND!!!" but decided against it!

Good luck mate!

GUTTED for ya Dave.!!!
A quick story for ya about SIMMO, a few years back i was at the world qualifiers at Bristol, and the ever so nice Stars & Stripes club !! (not) when some kind local decided to releive me of my car from the car park, on i think the 2nd day. Local lad the short shooter lent me a car to get to the qualifiers for the remaining days left to go. So the day came to get home for me and the better half, within that final day i played SIMMO first time i met him!! and i managed to beat him 7-0. (sorry dave).
But what i will say is that i live near Doncaster and Dave lives near Lemington Spa..!!! and this guy was the only person to offer us a lift all the way home !!! and then turned round and drove back home himself over 200 miles out of his way and after i had just beat him. Now thats a top bloke....... AND ITS NOT FAIR FOR HIM TO WALK AWAY WITH 10p. But life sometime stinks, but i tell you know Dave your rewards will come in some way shape or form? who knows.
See ya soon.........

Steve & Maria

So sorry for you Dave. I think you did the right thing throughout and were just unlucky. The last offer was appalling from the banker and probably influenced the decision to carry on. Never mind at least your now a tv star.

Gutted for you mate!! I would have played exactly the same way though. Genuinely unlucky!!

I think the killer was when the £100,000 went.

Not to worry though, I reckon you might get about £50,000 worth of free pints out of people for being such a top bloke!!
